The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will start on March 14 and run till May 25.

Under head coach Justin Langer, LSG have assembled a star-studded squad for IPL 2025, with top Indian cricketers, experienced international players and several domestic uncapped talents.

With the tournament not far away, we take a look at five uncapped players in the squad who will look to impress everyone.

Yuvraj Chaudhary

LSG’s new recruit Yuvraj Chaudhary hogged the limelight with his all-round performances in the recently-concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The 23-year-old Uttarakhand batting all-rounder grabbed the headlines after he slammed 123 off just 60 balls against Karnataka during a Group B fixture at Indore. Opening the innings, he smashed nine fours and 11 sixes. Chaudhary later showcased his bowling credentials after he registered his career-best figures of 4/15 against Sikkim. The talented left-arm spinner dismissed Nilesh Lamichaney, Parth Palawat, Anwesh Sharma and Pranesh Chettri. He then continued his impressive form with the bat after he hammered an unbeaten 26-ball 61. The young star ended the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 with 234 runs in five matches at an average of 58.50 and a strike rate of 168.34. 

Prince Yadav

LSG’s latest pace sensation Prince Yadav was one of the standout bowlers in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024. He produced a match-winning spell to guide Delhi to the SMAT 2024 semi-finals. Defending 193 against Uttar Pradesh in their quarter-final encounter, the young right-arm pacer bagged the massive wickets of Rinku Singh and Sameer Rizvi to put Delhi in a commanding position. The 23-year-old later wrapped up Uttar Pradesh’s innings as he took the final wicket of Vineet Panwar to bowl them out for 174. Yadav finished with figures of 4-0-36-3. Earlier, the speedster also bowled brilliant spells against Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in the group stage. He ended his Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 campaign with 11 wickets in eight matches at an average of 18.63 and an economy of 7.54.    

Himmat Singh

Another new addition to the LSG set-up, Delhi batter Himmat Singh grabbed eyeballs with his scintillating performances in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The 28-year-old smashed 77 off 34 balls against Uttar Pradesh during their Group C fixture at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. His magnificent fifty was laced with four fours and six sixes. The right-handed batter continued his impressive form as he scored an unbeaten 46-ball 71 against Jammu and Kashmir at the same venue. Himmat Singh’s half-century included six fours and three maximums. He concluded the domestic T20 tournament with 197 runs in eight matches at an average of 49.25 and a strike rate of 148.12. Meanwhile, he began the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024 with a quick-fire fifty against Bengal in Hyderabad.

Mohsin Khan

Lucknow Super Giants have shown their immense faith by retaining talented pacer Mohsin Khan for IPL 2025. Representing Uttar Pradesh, the 26-year-old has once again showcased his wicket-taking capabilities in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024. Under the leadership of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohsin Khan started the T20 tournament with brilliant figures of 3.2-0-16-2 against Himachal Pradesh in their Group C encounter. The left-arm fast bowler later produced an economical spell of 1/13 in his three overs against Manipur. He continued to bag crucial wickets for Uttar Pradesh against Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi. Mohsin concluded the tournament with nine wickets in seven matches at an average of 21.11 and an economy of 7.86. 

Aryan Juyal

LSG’s new signing Aryan Juyal will be one of the uncapped players to watch out for in the upcoming IPL. The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter played some scintillating knocks for Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Opening the innings, the right-handed batter scored a brilliant fifty off 29 balls against Manipur in their Group C clash. His quick-fire half-century was laced with four fours and four maximums to guide Uttar Pradesh to a seven-wicket win in Mumbai. Juyal later hammered 40-ball 75 against Arunachal Pradesh in the T20 tournament. His match-winning fifty included 12 fours and two sixes. The rising star ended the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 with 220 runs in nine matches at a strike rate of 141.93.
