We have received a massive boost as our pace sensation Mayank Yadav has joined the squad on Tuesday.

After recovering from back and toe injuries at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE), Mayank has received an all clear from the BCCI medical team and has rejoined our camp.

Our young right-arm pacer is likely to be available for our upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday.

The 22-year-old speedster rose to prominence after he made his IPL debut for us in 2024. With his breakneck pace, Mayank hogged the limelight as he picked up seven wickets in just four matches at an average of 12.14 and an economy of 6.99.

Mayank also became the first player in IPL history to bag two Player of the Match awards in his first two matches.

Having impressed everyone with his speed and accuracy, Mayank earned his maiden India call-up against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in September 2024.

He later made his international debut in the first T20I versus Bangladesh in Gwalior on October 6, 2024. Our tearaway pacer ended with figures of 4-1-21-1 on his T20I debut. Since then, he has claimed four T20I wickets in three matches at an average of 15.43 and an economy of 6.67.

However, Mayank has been out of action since he last featured in the third T20I against Bangladesh in Hyderabad in October 2024.

Meanwhile, our Super Giants have already accumulated eight points from seven matches in IPL 2025.

After a hard-fought defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at our home, our boys will aim to quickly bounce back against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.
