After a brilliant home win, we will aim to continue the winning momentum against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in our upcoming IPL 2025 clash at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday. Our first afternoon clash of the season will start at 3:30 PM IST.

Under the leadership of Rishabh Pant, we arrived in Kolkata after registering a 12-run win over Mumbai Indians at our fortress, the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Friday.

Put in to bat, we rode on Mitchell Marsh’s 60 off 31 balls, Aiden Markram’s 38-ball 53 and David Miller’s cameo of 27 runs to post a huge total of 203/8 in our 20 overs.

Our spin sensation, Digvesh Rathi, later produced a match-defining spell of 1/21 in his four overs to help us restrict MI to 191/5 in their allotted overs and register our second win in IPL 2025.

Apart from Digvesh, the likes of Shardul Thakur, Avesh Khan and Akash Deep contributed with one scalp each to deliver an excellent bowling performance for us.

With four points from four matches, our Super Giants will now be looking to pip the Knight Riders and add two more points to our tally.

Meanwhile, our Caribbean southpaw, Nicholas Pooran, has been the leading run-scorer in IPL 2025. The flamboyant left-hander has already amassed 201 runs in four matches at an impressive strike rate of 218.47, while also maintaining an average of 50.25.

Our opening batter, Marsh, features third on the list with 184 runs in four games at an average of 46 and a strike rate of 185.85.

In the bowling department, our star all-rounder, Shardul Thakur, has been our wrecker-in-chief with seven wickets in four matches at an average of 18.85.

Our mystery spinner, Digvesh, has also bagged six wickets in IPL 2025 at an economy of 7.62.
