In a minor change to our IPL 2025 schedule, our match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens has been moved from April 6 to April 8.

Our away fixture against the Knight Riders has been rescheduled following a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) regarding the deployment of personnel across the city owing to festivities. The KKR vs LSG IPL 2025 match will start at 3:30 PM IST on April 8.

“The authorities have recommended that the game be moved to Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 3:30 PM, and the request has been accommodated accordingly. The rest of the schedule remains unchanged,” the BCCI stated in a press release.

Meanwhile, our boys registered an emphatic five-wicket win over SunRisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday, March 27.

Opting to bowl first, our Super Giants rode on an outstanding bowling performance to restrict the Pat Cummins-led SunRisers to 190/9 in their 20 overs.

Our star all-rounder Shardul Thakur was the wrecker-in-chief as he picked up four wickets for 34 runs in his quota of four overs.

In reply, our Caribbean flamboyant southpaw Nicholas Pooran smashed 70 off just 26 balls while our dashing opening batter Mitchell Marsh scored a 31-ball 52 to help us chase down the target in 16.1 overs.

With the brilliant win, we have jumped to second on the IPL 2025 standings with two points from two matches.

After the victory, our boys have arrived in Lucknow ahead of our first home game of the season against Punjab Kings on Tuesday, April 1.
