Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have roped in Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

The 33-year-old has been picked as a replacement for our left-arm fast bowler Mohsin Khan, who has been ruled out of IPL 2025 due to a calf injury.

Since making his international debut in August 2017, Thakur has represented India in 11 Tests, 47 ODIs and 25 T20Is.

Having previously played for the likes of Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), Rising Pune Supergiant, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, Thakur will bring wealth of experience to our squad.

Known for his all-round capabilities, the Mumbai all-rounder has picked up 67 wickets and scored 307 runs in 95 IPL matches so far.

Meanwhile, we will begin our IPL 2025 campaign against Delhi Capitals at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on March 24.
