Led by our talismanic captain Rishabh Pant, our Super Giants put a spirited fight in front of our passionate fans before we succumbed to an eight-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings on Tuesday.
Our flamboyant southpaw Nicholas Pooran once again hogged the limelight after he scored 44 off 30 balls, while talented youngster Ayush Badoni played an impressive knock of 41 runs to help us post 171/7 in our 20 overs.

Apart from Pooran and Badoni, our stylish opening batter Aiden Markram provided us a quick-fire start with 28 off 18 balls, and later Abdul Samad contributed with a dazzling cameo of a 12-ball 27 to power us to a fighting total at our home.
Defending 171, our mystery spinner Digvesh Rathi bagged two wickets, however, it wasn’t enough as the Kings chased down the target in 16.2 overs.
Ahead of our crucial clash against MI, we have received a massive boost as our right-arm pacer Akash Deep has joined the camp and will be available for selection on Friday.
