Led by our captain Rishabh Pant, our Super Giants will head into the game brimming with confidence after we defeated SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five wickets at their home ground.
Electing to bowl first, our boys rode on an outstanding bowling performance to restrict the Pat Cummins-led SunRisers to 190/9 in their 20 overs.
Our experienced all-rounder Shardul Thakur was the wrecker-in-chief with figures of 4/34 in his quota of four overs.
Apart from Shardul, our other bowlers including Prince Yadav, Digvesh Rathi, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan picked up one wicket each.
Later, our Caribbean southpaw Nicholas Pooran smashed 70 off just 26 balls while our Australian opening batter Mitchell Marsh scored a 31-ball 52 to help us chase down the target in just 16.1 overs.
Having opened our account in IPL 2025, our boys will be looking to continue the winning momentum against the Kings at our home.
