Biography
With shots that flow like the poetries of Lucknow and a royal touch of calm while leading the Super Giants on the field, our captain KLassy Rahul embodies the spirit of Lucknow like a true Nawab.
In KL Rahul, we found a perfect candidate to lead the Lucknow Super Giants in our debut IPL season in 2022. KL Rahul obliged and led the Lucknow Super Giants into the IPL playoffs with nine wins from 14 matches.
He was the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2022 with 616 runs at an average of 51.33 at the top and stitched many memorable opening stands with Quinton de Kock. In fact, KL Rahul, who played for Punjab previously, is the only Indian batter to hit more than 500 runs in five straight IPL seasons (2018-2022). Talk about consistency!
